Counting My Footsteps To You

This touching song about living with dementia was recorded at Sidmouth Cricket Club by Reg Meuross.  You may recognise the setting!

We are delighted that Reg has allowed us to share this song with you on our Sidmouth Memories website. Thank you Reg for capturing in words and beautiful music what many of us feel.

We were extremely fortunate that Reg performed a special concert for members of Sid Valley and Honiton Memory Cafes on Saturday 26th October, at Sidbury Village Hall.  This was followed by an autumnal afternoon tea. Below is a video of just one of the songs Reg performed for us.  It is called “The Band Played Sweet Marie” and was inspired by the violin played by Wallace Hartley, the band leader of the Titanic, as the great liner sank.
